4 Summer Activities to Squeeze In
If you are one of the many students (or parents of students) who start school around Labor Day, there are four weeks of summer left for you to cherish. Sure four weeks will probably fly by, but it’s also 28 days and four weekends to fill with those summer activities you have been thinking about! These weeks may feel busy with back-to-school prep (trust us, we are moms…we get it), but we know that we can find the time to fit in at least one fun adventure per week, and we wanted to share those plans with you! Here are four vital summer activities to try to squeeze in before summer ends:
Get to the Beach!
All of our Krush locations are fortunate to be located within an hour of a beautiful beach or other body of water, and we encourage all of you Krush enthusiasts to take advantage of that! There is really no better feeling than digging your toes into the sand, cooling off in the ocean, taking in lots of Vitamin D and just genuinely relaxing.
Stop by Krush for a Lobster Roll
If you are dairy or gluten-free (or neither), stopping by Krush before our August lobster roll special is over is a must! You can even grab one on your way to your beach day to kill two birds with one stone. Because what screams summer more than a delicious lobster roll on the beach?
Find a Pool to Swim In
Stop by a friend’s backyard or find a local public pool and take a moment to dip in. Letting yourself float against gravity can be great for your swollen-from-the-heat joints, but the real reason we love a pool is, is there really anything better than jumping in a cool pool on a hot, sweaty summer day and just feeling like a kid again? We think not!
Stop By Your Local Farmers Market
We have preached about the benefits of local produce before. Sourcing your produce locally is better for the planet, better for your body because it has the highest level of nutrients, supports local farmers, and the list goes on. All of that said, local produce is not the only thing that draws us to farmers markets. There are often vendors besides farm stands that sell pickles, baked goods, and sometimes even dog treats for your furry family members to tag along!
Enjoy your last few weeks of summer!
