5 Year Anniversary Celebrations & Mother’s Day Fun!
5 years ago, May 8th, 2015, we opened our doors in Woodbury, NY. It had been a lifelong dream catapulted to existence in an eight month whirlwind that still, to this day, brings a giant smile to our faces. Those months were filled with laughter, optimism, hard work, and intense planning. We are so grateful to our early customers, who came day after day, trying out our food and buying out (daily!) our cold pressed juice selection. We are so grateful to the loyal customers who joined us on this journey, and didn’t give up on us, even when we forget the avocado on their salad, or lost their ticket (why were our computers always crashing?!), or ran out of their favorite special (oh wait, that still happens, but that’s because of how delicious the food is!).
5 years ago there wasn’t a single place on Long Island that made organic cold-pressed juice or unsweetened acai bowls; there were no other restaurants serving a 100% organic menu, and there certainly weren’t two moms as passionate as we were about serving our families food that was free of GMOs, pesticides, hormones and fake ingredients.
We also had a few other special things going for us…Chef James Tchinnis, our talented founding chef! Meredith Dresner, our 1st hire and dynamite manager who now trains all new staff; and Wilson, our 2nd hire, and kitchen rockstar who today leads new store kitchen openings! They set the tone for the style of employee that would define Organic Krush’s way of doing business…serving food with a whole lot of love.
So, let’s celebrate…this weekend we are all for Moms getting much deserved attention! We have Mother’s Day specials that will brighten your day and delight your palate! We’re especially excited to offer a Mimosa bundle at our Plainview, Rockville Centre & Short Pump locations. Our cold-pressed Strawberry Lemonade and Orange Juice + Organic Prosecco make for the most inspiring of combos!
Savor that bubbly with a warm blueberry muffin and you will feel like the queen of your household! Our Pina Colada smoothie is the perfect blend of tropical delights, and if you have a hungry family to feed for brunch, our Skillet Hash or BBQ Chicken Sandwich will make your whole crowd happy!
