Cleanse with a Friend! No question, the hardest part of doing a cleanse for me is watching the people around me eat delicious, heavy meals. Everyone will definitely be jealous of how light and energized you feel at the end of your 3 days, but you may (very understandably) be jealous of them during the process. That’s why we suggest cleansing with a friend! This is especially helpful if that friend is someone you happen to live with. I want to love the detox and light, healthy, delicious meals, but I have yet to be successful in doing so while my family eats sushi at the table next to me. That’s why I got my parents on board to cleanse with me! We will be there to motivate each other, send texts throughout the day to drink more water, remind each other of the meaning and beauty of cleansing our bodies, and even enjoy our post-cleanse sushi together ;). Another amazing opportunity to cleanse with a group is to cleanse with yogi, Karen Dillon, and her Calm Crew from August 10th-12th. Interact with other cleansers during group Zoom meals, have Karen as a leader during the process and find motivation in the group and the collective to do something good for your body. This program adds another level of healing to the 3 days through live and recorded yoga classes on the beach taught by Karen, journaling sessions, dharma talks, spiritual reading lists and post-cleanse recipes. If you don’t want to cleanse alone but can’t convince your roommate to join you, this is the perfect option for you.
