Detox Cilantro Smoothie

One of the things I’ve realized with my early morning routine, is that the choices I make play a huge part in keeping me on the healthy course for the remainder of each day; this cilantro based smoothie (cilantro in a smoothie????)  is SO refreshing, so impactful, so energizing.. a whole orange, wild blueberries, fresh cilantro…. doesn’t that just capture the essence of sunshine and healing?

Here’s the recipe, based on the ever inspirational Medical Medium:

  • 1 orange
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup wild blueberries (freezer section of Whole Foods OR VitalChoice.Com )
  • 1 cup cilantro (so easy to grow in a garden or flower pot in your yard)
  • 1 tsp spirulina  (natural health food store)
  • 8 oz Organic orange juice and water as needed; Blend and sip!

Cilantro isn’t a very common ingredient  to add to a smoothie; I find the taste to be incredible.. light and bursting with freshness and healing; here is what Anthony Williams, Medical Medium has to say about it:

“Cilantro is a remarkable heavy-metal detoxifier and is able to remove mercury and aluminum from where it is stored in the adipose (fat) tissues.”

Cilantro is also able to mobilize mercury rapidly from the brain and central nervous system by separating it from the fat tissue and moving into the blood & lymph where when combined with a blue-green algae such as spirulina it can be removed safely and effectively from the body. Cilantro & blue-green algae used together is a winning combination and a natural miracle that has given tremendous relief to those suffering from mercury poisoning & toxicity. ”

We all have toxic metal in our bodies (more on that another day); Cilantro and Spirulina are a simple way to start to lower the body burden of these metals;

Onto my day,

Michelle
